The other day I wrote, 'how to beat Monday Blues'. I wrote it leisurely while nursing my bruised shin. I didn't have much expectation except to write down what's bottled inside.
Then it blew up. From 10 RTs to 100, to 1000 now reaching 4000. (It's more than my current Twitter followers).
This was the Twitter Thread.
When you scroll down to the replies, you'll see people who suck the life out of you.
While it's fun to see your thread trending, it's not fun when you see negative vibe, who are just looking for a wall to land their fists. Unleashing all their hatred towards a complete stranger.
The old me would have entertained each and every one of them. You know, for the fun of it.
Instead, f*ck off. I've got better things to do.
If 80% finds it helpful. Good for them. Forget about the 20% (maybe 5%).
That's what we should do. Focus on the people that return the same energy. That wants to improve themselves and their future. Just like us.
People like us do things like this.
